Read, Rhyme, & Romp
Get your child excited about reading!This free program includes interactive play, story telling, & music to teach children and their parents and caregivers Early Literacy skills in a fun and active way!

What you need to know:
Ages: Newborn-3
Duration: Programs generally last 20 minutes
Registration: Registration is required for each 10 week block of programming

Story Times
Interactive play makes stories come to life!Come and enjoy interactive storytelling at the Defiance Public Library System! Programs include reading, games, songs, and crafts all centered on some of our favorite stories. Let our stories take you and your child on an adventure today!

Summer Reading Program
The Defiance Public Library hosts a 2-month long Summer Reading Program at all 3 locations every year. The Summer Reading Program encourages youth and teens to read and be active even when not in school. Events, programs, and contests are held throughout June and July for all grade levels. Ages: Newborn - Grade 12
Duration: June & July
Registration: Registration is required at your nearest location and may be completed throughout June & July
Cost: Programs and events are free unless otherwise announced
