Library Services and Hours during the Renovation

Hours: The Defiance Public Library will remain open and operational as much as possible throughout the Renovation. Minimal closures may be necessary for safety reasons, but as much notice as is possible will be given to the public.

Services: Checkouts, item holds, reference services, and programs will continue throughout the renovation. Closures and inaccessibility will be taken into account with due dates throughout the construction. Our two branch locations in Hicksville and Sherwood will remain open regular hours to serve DPLS patrons. You can see hours and contact information for all three of our locations by clicking here.
