Join DPLS and Defiance College Professor of History Dr. Jeremy Taylor on June 7 at 6 p.m. at the Stroede Center, 319 Wayne Ave., Defiance, for a presentation on the Black men from Defiance who enlisted in the Civil War. Sarah Marshall & Berne Heilshorn also will present on their research surrounding Worthington Cemetery–Defiance County’s lone historic Black cemetery. The presentation is free and open to all, geared to ages 13+.
