On April 24 at 5:30 p.m., Wendy Baker, education coordinator for the Defiance County Soil & Water Conservation District, will visit Defiance Public Library to give us a closer look at the mighty macroinvertebrates (aquatic insects) living in our local streams & rivers. We’ll investigate what macros are, their amazing adaptations, & what their presence–or absence–means for our water quality. Geared to children from pre-K to 6th grade. No registration needed.
