Wendy Baker of the Defiance County Soil & Water Conservation District will visit the Summer Reading Tent at Defiance Public Library on June 8 at 10:30 a..m to teach us all about the unique structures and life cycles of butterflies. Have you ever wondered what caterpillars do while waiting for metamorphosis inside their chrysalis? We will get some ideas from “The Very Impatient Caterpillar.” We will also try an activity to see if we can successfully find a host plant. Geared to grades 1-6. No registration needed.
If your organization is bringing a group of 5 or more, please call in advance so we can be prepared to accommodate you!
