'Celebrate Picture Books' Challenge

November is Picture Book Month. How better to celebrate than by reading picture books? Each day, read one picture book, then log your reading on Beanstack (defiancelibrary.beanstack.org). There will be 3 prize drawings throughout the month and a grand prize drawing at the end. Prizes include downtown Defiance gift certificates, and the grand prize will include movie passes! **Prizes must be picked up at Defiance Public Library!

Participants will receive one entry for each drawing for every day they read a picture book. All participants will receive an entry in the grand prize drawing. Participants who read a picture book for each of the 30 days in November will receive 5 extra drawing entries for the grand prize.

This is open to all ages! Adults can have fun reliving old childhood favorites and discovering new gems. Children can enjoy the closeness of reading with a loved one while improving their reading or early literacy skills. If you need ideas, you can find oodles of picture books at the library! We hope you have fun with this challenge!
