'Frankenstein' Community Read

Welcome the spooky season by joining DPLS for a Community Read, taking place Oct. 1-31, 2023! Read “Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus” by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley along with us, and send a picture of yourself with the book to prellstab@defiancelibrary.org before the month is over for a chance to win a crocheted Shelley, Frankenstein, & a copy of the book! Photos will be displayed at DPL.

Winner will be notified via email. Copies of the book will be available at all 3 DPLS locations (Defiance, Sherwood, Hicksville). Open to all ages.
