Story Express: Children's Book Club

Join Defiance Public Library for the Story Express Children’s Book Club! Sessions will take place March 28 at 4:30 p.m. and March 30 at 10:30 a.m. at Defiance Public Library. Geared to grades 1-6. No registration needed.

The first portion of each session will focus on a grades 1-2 selection, Our Friend Hedgehog: The Story of Us by Lauren Castillo, while the 2nd portion will be geared to a 3rd-6th grade selection, The Wild Robot by Peter Brown.

All kids in grades 1-6 are welcome to attend the full session to participate in fun activities based on both books. The books will be available for kids to check out in advance at the circulation desk to read before the event. Those who don’t finish the books before the meeting are still encouraged to come participate. Snacks will be provided, while supplies last, courtesy of the Friends of Defiance Public Library.
