With funding from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the Space Science Institute, through its Solar Eclipse Activities for Libraries (SEAL) program is distributing 5 million pair of solar-viewing glasses to 10,000 libraries.
From March 25-April 8, Patrons can pick up 1 pair of solar eclipse glasses per family while supplies last. If there are glasses available by April 5, families will be able to obtain a second pair. Glasses can be picked up at the Reference desk in Defiance and at the main desks in Sherwood and Hicksville.
