Posted Notice of Public Meetings:

All regular meetings of the Board of Trustees for the current calendar year, including date, time, and location, are listed on DPLS’ online calendar. When agendas are finalized, they will be linked to the top of the homepage ( Additionally, public notice of regular meetings and a meeting agenda will be posted on each library’s public bulletin board and emailed to library staff and media contacts no later than 48 hours prior to the meeting. 

Public notices of date, time, place, and purpose of special meetings will be posted on the library’s website, bulletin boards, and emailed to any media contacts who have requested notice of meetings as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting. In the event of an emergency meeting requiring immediate official action, the public will be notified immediately in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 121.22(f).

Those who wish to receive email notifications for upcoming board and committee meetings can fill out this form and select “Public Notices.” Those who would like to inquire about receiving another form of notification (e.g. mail) or notification related to a specific type of public business can email the board, or call or visit the library. 

Copies of approved minutes of previous meetings can be found here, and are available in the libraries by request.
